Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as a top striker is supposed be be in top teams in Europe like Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, Barcelona or other top teams but he end up joining Turkish side Galatasaray.
He could have signed a new deal with Napoli in December of last year to raise his pay considerably, but he never intended to stay at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona past the end of the 2023–24 season.
The striker was aware of what and where he wanted to go, more crucially, “Since I’ve started playing professionally I’ve been the one making my own decisions,” he told CBS Sports in January, “and everything is working out well for me.”
But not anymore.On Tuesday morning, Victor Osimhen received a warm and welcome in Istanbul as he arrived to finalize his loan transfer to Galatasaray. Despite his cheerful demeanor, this was an unexpected and humiliating turn of events.
The transfer negotiations between Osimhen and Napoli have ended in a disastrous outcome, with no party emerging victorious only defeated parties remain.
