Why I Gave Kylian Mbappe A Yellow Card Even Without Commiting A Foul- Referee

The referee that officiated Real Madrid VS Espanyol match last Saturday have finally revealed why he showed a yellow card to Kylian Mbappe.

According to the referee, the way he (Mbappe) made body movements was so disrespectful to me and I don’t like it.

Kylian Mbappe on the other hand was protesting saying he didn’t say anything. See a dialogue of their conversation below:

Referee: “It’s disrespectful to do that gesture towards me”

Kylian Mbappe: “But I didn’t say anything just the gesture. Talk to me you can’t give me a card for something like that”

Referee: It’s a very disrespectful gesture towards me. Very ugly thing you have done. That’s why I booked you”

Kylian Mbappe:”But I didn’t speak”

Referre: “It’s not about if we speak or not. It’s also what we do with our body”
