Manchester City midfielder, Matheus Nunes has made headlines on the media after reports of his arrest in Madrid over phone theft surfaced online.

According to the reports from verified sources like goal.com; the Portuguese player was arrested and send behind bars for stealing a phone in Madrid. However he has since being released on bail pending trial.

What Actually Happened To Nunes in Madrid And The Phone Theft Issue

Everything started during the last international break in September when Nunes didn’t make it to the squad, so he decided to go unwind with friends in Madrid.

At Madrid, he was in a night club when he thought a 58 years old man was taking photographs of him with his phone.

He then seized the man’s phone and refused to return it.

The 58 years old man went to report to the police who came and saw the phone in Nune’s possession, then got him arrested afterwards.
