Cristiano Ronaldo says he is not thinking long term anymore and may not reach his 1,000 carrer goal target

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballer in the football history and have achieved almost all trophy and personal awards during his football career. He is currently the most celebrated footballer in history and the best player in the UEFA Champions league and other league competitions.

Cristiano Ronaldo has made an ambitious plan to hit 1,000 career goal is through out his football career before he retires. He currently hits 900 goals last month and have scored couples of goals at both the club level and international level. The Portuguese is currently 39 and will turn 40 in February 2025.

Age is the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo is unsure about hitting his desired 1000 career goals. The footballer is getting old and there is a low tendency that the Portuguese will have the energy and playing time to reach his goal target. The greatest footballer currently has 5 Ballon d’or and has won many important personal trophys and, the footballer is still giving all his best while playing for the Al Nassr in the Saudi pro league and the Portugal national football team. Many players have retired before even reaching 39 years old and there is a high possiblity that Cristiano is going to retire before reaching the goal target.
