Boniface Recounts How He Used To Struggle To Watch UCL After Making His Debut

Nigerian professional footballer, Victor Boniface took to his twitter page to reveal how tough life was for him in Nigeria before he became a professional footballer. The 23 years old who grew up in Akure, Nigeria, used to go watch champions league football at local viewing centers many years ago.

Boniface, who played his first champions league match of his career when his team, Bayer Leverkusen defeated Feyenoord by 4 goals to nil.

Taking to his twitter page to acknowledge how far he has come; he wrote:

“From paying 30 naira to watch champions league football for night back then for 323 army barrack Akure to playing my first champions league game proud of this moment”
