Al Nassr and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo have made a shocking revelation about what he would use his time to do after retiring from the round leather game. The 39-year-old, who is currently plying his trade in Saudi Arabia, recently hit a benchmark of 900 career goals when he scored against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League match a few days ago.

Many fans think Ronaldo will become a coach someday, just like other former footballers who still work as coaches in various clubs. However, the five-time Balon d’Or winner has come out to clarify that he is not interested in going into management after retirement; instead, he would like to be involved in his other businesses. Recall: Ronaldo recently opened a YouTube channel tagged “ur Ronaldo” that has amassed over 60 million subscribers. So, there are many things to be engaged with after retirement besides going into management.

Ronaldo revealed not going into management after retirement during a podcast with former teammate and Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand on the Rio Presents show.

In his words: “For me, it will be difficult one day to be a coach because I don’t have passion for this generation, it’s difficult especially in football, because they don’t take advice from our experience. They think they know everything; they believe phones will give you a good education, like TikTok and Instagram. I have other things to worry about, and another chapter of my life is a business part I’m excited about. It will challenge me to learn different areas I don’t know. I want to be more involved in my businesses and I think I will be good”
