Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has broken another premier league record after he scored a brace against Brentford in a match which ended 2-1 in favour of City. The visitors opened scoring with Wissa’s header in 22 seconds of kick-off, and Erling Haaland responded with two goals that came in quick succession.
This is Haalands eight and ninth goal of the new premier league campaign.
Recall that he bagged a hatrrick in their last match against Westham.
This also means that Haaland has broken a 13-year-old record held by former Manchester United forward Rooney. The previous goal record in a team’s first four games in a Premier League campaign was Rooney’s eight for Unikted in 2011/12.
