Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has given update on Rodri’s injury during a post-match interview after a disappointing 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
Rodri, who seem to be the rock of Man City’s midfield picked up an injury during his side’s clash against Arsenal. It all started when he (Rodri ) fell to the ground after colliding with Harvertz in the opening minutes of the game.
Rodri managed to play for a few minutes more before he was finally taken out for picking up an injury. His absent could be the reason why Arsenal was winning the match before Stones pulled in an equalizer just before the final whistle.
In this vein, Guardiola made some remarks about the injury sustained by Rodri. In Guardiola’s words. He said:
“I don’t know yet. I didn’t ask the doctors. He is strong. He leaves the pitch and his action his if he felt something otherwise then he would stay”
