Former Real Madrid and Manchester United defender, Raphael Varane has taken to his official Instagram page to share shocking news of his retirement from football.
The 31 years old who recently moved to Cesc Fabregas’s newly promoted Seria A side, Como, picked up an injury while playing for Como, so it deemed it fit to call it quit.
Recall; Rapheal Varane started his career at the age of 17 playing for Lens in France Ligue 1 then made a move to Real Madrid where he won 4 champions league amongst other trophies.
He then signed for Manchester United where he won an FA cup which eventually became the last trophy he’d win in his career.
