Former Arsenal striker, Jay Emmanuel Thomas has made news headlines after cannabis worth around £600K was seized from him.
The 33 years old striker who now plays for Scottish championship side, Greenock Morton was said to have allegedly imported 60 kilograms of drugs from Bangkok which arrived in a suitcase in Stansted airport on September 2.
The striker who didn’t make it at Arsenal is currently being remanded in custody by national crime agency (NCA) and will appear at Carlisle magistrate court soon.
Recall; Jay Emmanuel joined Arsenal academy at age 8, and later captained the side that won youth FA cup in 2009.
He later made his arsenal senior debut in a FA cup tie against Stokecity in 2010 before leaving a year later.
